It is May and that means, the weather is finally (mostly) spring. At our house the butterflies have been flittering around all the wildflowers. It feels like a fairy tale.
So I knew I wanted to use those magical butterflies to create this month’s free digital wallpaper.

Watercolor Butterflies Digital Pattern
I cannot believe I have not done a digital wallpaper with butterflies yet!
Butterflies make the best designs and patterns because you can use any colors and get super creative. However, this month I was super busy with a new puppy, so I didn’t have time to play with fun butterfly designs.
Instead, I purchased these gorgeous watercolor images from Plaid Gecko. Her watercolors are so whimsical and pretty.
And I was able to create an epic butterfly pattern with them for the digital wallpapers.
The finished design is perfect for May and spring. It just makes me happy every time I open my phone or get ready to work!
